June 28, 2008 Claire had been so dreadfully ill since her early 20s. She never gave up. Yes, she needed support, as do we all. My daughter was the most positive person I have ever met, no one will ever surpass her. She was a lover of people and animals. Her life was to reach out to everyone in need of companionship or support in any way she could. Claire is now with Sadie, Suzie, her mummy, and our dog Peque. Their ashes to be mixed together and placed in a garden of rememberence. Her friend Crystal, from New York, wrote a poem which I read out at the service. I would like to share it with you. My Special Friend Claire. You showed me how to smile Your wisdom spoke the answers Through hospital stays and rock chick gigs The children and pets loved you The day has come for you to rest With all our love we miss her so They are all happily together now. Take good care of yourselves. Keep Claires love and strength in your hearts. Think of her from time to time, it will help you all. Tony. |
